About Me

For 26 years, I’ve helped others realize their dreams—both as a music industry professional and as a leader in academia. This unique combination of experiences provides a powerful perspective from which to empower and inspire others to achieve their God-given purpose in the marketplace.

Brandon Egerton, Founder

I’ve spent the last 26 years inside the music industry—developing talent, shaping careers, and operating at the intersection of creativity and strategy. Not from the sidelines. From the rooms where decisions get made.

My career spans three core arenas:

  • A decade as an A&R Executive with EMI Music (now Motown Gospel), where I worked directly with award-winning artists and projects

  • 14+ years leading degree programs at Full Sail University, helping develop the next generation of industry professionals

  • 18+ years advising music entrepreneurs and creatives through my consultancy, Sideman Music Consulting

Across that time, I’ve contributed to over 200 major label project releases, working with artists such as CeCe Winans, Kierra Sheard, Smokie Norful, Aaron Neville, Donald Lawrence & The Tri-City Singers, T.D. Jakes, The Clark Sisters, Tye Tribbett, Koryn Hawthorne, Aoife O’Donovan, and more—collectively earning Grammy, Dove, and Stellar award recognition.

But titles and credits aren’t the point.

What I actually do is help people move from raw potential to intentional, strategic execution.

At the core of my work is the same principle that drives elite artist development: clarity of vision, alignment of strategy, and disciplined execution.

Most creatives don’t fail because they lack talent. They fail because they lack structure, perspective, and direction.

That’s where I come in.

I help artists, creatives, and professionals define who they are, what they’re building, and how to move with precision in competitive environments—whether inside the music industry or beyond it.

In addition to my consulting work, I currently serve as Education Director of Audio Arts at Full Sail University, where I oversee Recording Arts, Audio Production, Show Production, and Music Production programs—ensuring students are prepared not just academically, but professionally.

If you’re serious about building something that lasts, not just something that looks good for a moment—you’re in the right place.
